Our purpose
Repair conversations can move quickly, especially when a vehicle is already at the shop. We organize 1,000 common and specialized services into understandable 2026 planning ranges for Canada and the United States, alongside labor, parts share, difficulty, and typical shop time.
What independence means
Auto Repair Mate is not a repair shop, parts seller, insurer, warranty administrator, vehicle manufacturer, or referral broker. Shop-network names are provided only as an alphabetical recognition aid. No business pays for inclusion or receives a ranking.
What this site cannot do
A website cannot inspect your vehicle, verify a diagnosis, see corrosion or related damage, read a manufacturer procedure, or know local taxes and labor rates. Our ranges are conversation starters—not quotes and not instructions to perform, approve, reject, or delay work.
Our standard
