Editorial policy
Our content standard is to be useful, independent, transparent about uncertainty, and conservative around vehicle safety.
Last updated: August 3, 2026
Independence
Advertising does not determine repair inclusion, prices, wording, difficulty, or shop-network lists. Advertisements, when present, must remain identifiable and visually separate from repair results and navigation.
Sources and calculations
We prefer public consumer guidance, established cost-estimator frameworks, published industry context, and transparent assumptions. Because local quotes and proprietary labor guides vary, ranges are rounded planning bands, not precision claims.
Safety boundary
We do not publish instructions that imply an untrained owner should work on airbags, high-voltage batteries, refrigerant, fuel systems, heavy suspended vehicles, or other hazardous systems. Price information never means a repair can safely be delayed.
Corrections
Substantive errors are reviewed and corrected without regard to whether a business advertises on the site. Send a detailed correction to citylinks4u@gmail.com.
